MUMBAI : After applying every trick in the book to keep their relationship under wraps, lovebirds Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra have finally lifted the veil off their romantic alliance.

The duo that has often lambasted the media for ‘link-up’ rumours was seen getting up, close and personal at a recent party organised by Karan Johar to celebrate the birthday of his mother Hiroo Johar. Going hand-in-hand, the twosome looked very much like a couple in love.

Organised at a South Mumbai hotel, the party that was a very low-key affair saw the dusky bong siren walk in with her beau Aditya holding hands. Confirming the news, a source said, “Rani and Adi came in together and looked very much a couple. They walked in just before midnight and sat down for dinner next to each other. It’s a clear public statement that Rani is indeed his girlfriend. It was quite unlike Adi, but he seemed quite relaxed as he chatted with the other guests.”

As for the other guests at the party, there was Karan’s best friend Kaajal Anand and even though SRK wanted to attend the party he was busy shooting for one of his films.

And for the latest development between Rani and Aditya, sources say that the guests at the party were much too pleased with the two bonding in public. “Forget being seen with Rani, Adi doesn’t like to be seen in public even by himself. He has been dating Rani for nearly three years now but never has he made a public appearance with her by his side,” adds the source...link
